Bioventure was founded in 2001 with the intention of contributing to the commercial realization of the immense potential benefits inherent in the considerable scientific progress in life science. Bioventure establishes and manages financing companies - Bioventure Club Deals - to provide investors with attractive investments in carefully selected life science companies.

After initially operating successfully as a consulting firm, Bioventure has been active as an investment company since 2011. To date, six investments have been made, for which Bioventure has already been entrusted with almost 70 million euros by wealthy entrepreneurial families. Two of these investments, in which a total of approximately EUR 15 million was invested as part of Bioventure Club Deals, have since been sold at company valuations of EUR 310 million and EUR 1.2 billion respectively. With an investment multiple of approximately six times in each case, a total of more than EUR 100 million was distributed to the Club Deal shareholders.
